Spotify Partner Program Is Expanding to 15 Caribbean Markets
The expansion gives Caribbean creators another path to earn from audiences at home and across the diaspora.

Eligible podcasters and video creators across the Caribbean will soon gain access to another way to monetize their audiences on Spotify.
Spotify is expanding its Partner Program to more than 35 additional markets beginning October 20, 2026, including 15 across the Caribbean. The expansion will allow eligible creators in these markets to apply for Spotify’s monetization program and earn directly from qualifying content.
The Caribbean markets included are Antigua and Barbuda, The Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Curaçao, Dominica, the Dominican Republic, Grenada, Guyana, Haiti, Jamaica, St. Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, and Trinidad and Tobago.
How creators can earn
The Spotify Partner Program provides multiple revenue streams.
Eligible video creators can earn Premium video revenue based on qualifying consumption from Spotify Premium subscribers. Creators can also receive 50% of the revenue Spotify recognizes from Spotify-monetized ads served within their content. Creators remain free to sell their own sponsorships as well.
There is an important limitation for Caribbean creators, however. Access to the Partner Program does not mean that every local stream will generate advertising revenue. Spotify-served ads are not currently available to listeners in many of the newly eligible Caribbean markets. Creators may still generate Premium video revenue and can earn from Spotify-served ads when their content is consumed by eligible audiences in markets where those ads are available.
Who qualifies?
Creators must meet all of Spotify's eligibility requirements before they can apply. A show must have at least three published episodes, at least 1,000 audience members on Spotify during the previous 30 days, and at least 2,000 consumption hours on Spotify during the previous 30 days.
The show must also be hosted on Spotify for Creators, and the creator must have a legal address in an eligible market.
Another monetization door is opening
Where a Caribbean creator lives has historically affected which platform monetization programs are available to them.
Spotify's expansion does not eliminate those geographic differences, particularly around advertising availability. But it does give eligible podcasters and video creators across 15 Caribbean markets access to another major platform's direct monetization program.
For Caribbean creators building audiences both at home and across the diaspora, that creates another opportunity to earn directly from their content.
