Meet Corey & Mars: The Trinidadian Content Creators Building a Community Through Authenticity

For Corey and Mars, creating content wasn't something they planned. What started as a fun way to pass the time eventually became a platform for sharing their relationship with thousands of people online.

Inspired by fellow Trinidadian creators Anil and Kineta James, the couple began posting videos on TikTok, turning everyday moments into relatable lifestyle content.

"Being bored during COVID, we heard about this TikTok thing," they told FAMA. "When we checked it out, we actually got inspiration from Anil and Kineta James and just decided to post random videos as a couple."

Today, Corey and Mars have built their community by staying true to who they are rather than chasing trends.

"We're authentic," they said. "The people we portray on social media are the same people you'll meet in real life (a little shy though). We're just a couple navigating through life and capturing it one lens at a time."

Away from social media, Corey enjoys playing music and going to the gym, while Mars loves cooking and spending time at the beach. Together, they simply enjoy spending time with each other and making memories.

One of the couple's most memorable experiences came not from a viral video, but from meeting a supporter in person.

"Even though we don't have many followers, we met a fan who actually cried when she met us for her birthday," they shared. "That was a really shocking and emotional moment for us as well."

Looking ahead, Corey and Mars are focused on growing both their relationship and their brand.

"First and foremost is marriage," they said. "Secondly, we're trying to make more YouTube content as well as monetize our channels."

For Corey and Mars, success isn't just about growing their audience—it's about building genuine connections while staying true to themselves.
